Photograph album contains 44 mounted silver gelatin prints documenting the construction of and the completed Link Bridge over the Chicago River and the north and south approach connections of Lake Shore Drive. Completed in October, 1937, the bridge and the approaches were the first projects in Chicago under the direction of the Public Works Administration.

The Santee-Cooper Navigation and Hydro-Electric Project to improve navigation on and provide hydro-electric power from the Santee and Cooper Rivers was authorized by the South Carolina legislature in 1934.
